BDO advised Waterland and its portfolio company Hyand Group, a provider of individual software solutions, on the acquisition of the Romanian company Sinapsys Nearshore SRL (‘Sinapsys’).
A BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft transaction team led by Dr Steffen Eube (Deal Advisory partner) and Sandro Schwenke (Transaction Tax partner) carried out a comprehensive financial and tax due diligence as part of the acquisition process.
Sinapsys, based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, is a provider of IT solutions with a team of over 40 employees, focusing on software development and managed services.
As a specialist in individual software, the Hyand Group supports customers from various sectors, such as the automotive industry, the retail, finance and insurance sectors or public clients, in driving forward digital change with individual software solutions. The more than 900 employees work at several locations in Germany, Poland, Lithuania, India and now also Romania.
