The Frankfurt-based LifeFit Group has acquired the Darmstadt-based Body Culture Group (centrally managed by MyLifeStyleClub GmbH) with its 15 fitness studios. A multidisciplinary transaction team from BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft supported the portfolio company of Waterland with financial and tax due diligence as part of the transaction.
With the acquisition of the Body Culture Group, which operates 15 fitness studios under the brands Body Culture, Fitnessfabrik, Amanusa and Intenso and has more than 30,000 customers, the LifeFit Group is continuing the strong growth trend of recent months and is now represented at 165 locations. The company's goal is to be present in Germany with more than 250 locations by 2028 with the growth course it has embarked on.
The LifeFit Group is a leading fitness and health platform in Germany that combines various fitness brands under one roof. The best-known brand is Fitness First, under which the 15 locations that have now been taken over will also be continued. The previous owners and founders of MyLifeStyleClub GmbH, whose studios were mainly run under the Body Culture brand, are stepping down from the management team with the sale in order to pursue new activities.
